Keep the light burning

Fix the glass, tune the radio, and watch the waves. A low - stakes restoration game for people who just need a break.

Most simulators bury you in quests. Here, the main quest is just silence. You need to scrub the lighthouse lens, patch up the rowboat, and maybe plant some potatoes by the doorstep. It’s a game about the process, not the grind.

What you’ll actually do

It’s not just about the big lamp at the top.
You’ll spend time fixing the old shortwave radio to hear weather reports, or scrubbing rust off the spiral staircase.
Sometimes, the game just asks you to sit on the pier and watch the tide come in to "recharge" your character’s focus.
There’s a quiet satisfaction in finally getting the foghorn to work or seeing your first patch of potatoes actually sprout in the salty air.
These small chores are what make the island feel like it’s actually yours.

The "How-To"

Everything is straightforward here - no complex key combos or hidden menus.

Click to clean

See dirt? Scrub it. It’s oddly
addictive.

Scavenge

Pick up driftwood on the shore after a storm. You’ll need it for the fire and basic repairs.

Light it up

Your main goal is getting the lighthouse lantern spinning again. Once it’s bright, ships bring in better supplies.

Listen

The sound of the waves is 50% of the game. Seriously, play with headphones.

Why this is actually cool

  • image

    Procedural Weather

A storm isn't just a rain filter on the screen. It actually washes up junk on the shoe that you can salvage into useful tools.

  • image

    Real-time Clock

If you play at 9 PM, it’s night on the island to. The lighthouse beam looks way cooler in the dark anyway.

  • image

    No Leaderboards

We don’t care what level you are. There’s no one to competewith except your own urge to paint the fence.

  • image

    Battery Friendly

We optimized the water shaders so your phone doesn't turn into a space heater after 15 minutes of play.

What’s the point?

At first, you’re sleeping in a sleeping bag on the lighthouse floor. Gradually, you patch the roof, clear the overgrown garden, and maybe even adopt a stray cat (if you can find something to feed it). The "difficulty" isn't about winning; it’s about maintaining the order you’ve built. Once the lighthouse is fully restored, you start getting letters from ship captains you helped guide through the fog.

WHAT TESTERS ARE SAYING

I thought this would be boring at first -like, how much cleaning can one guy do? But an hour later I realized I’d totally stopped thinking about my work deadlines. It’s like digital meditation. The sound of footsteps on the gravel is spot on; you really feel like you’re out there.

I love that the game doesn't nag me. No annoying push notifications like 'Your energy is refilled!' or whatever. I just log in when I have time, paint one wall, and log out. The low - poly style is super clean and doesn't strain my eyes.

The wave physics are something else. I spent ten minutes just watching the tide come in. The crafting makes sense, too: if you need planks, you go to the beach and break down old crates instead of hunting for 'magic crystals.' Perfect for the subway.

COMMON QUESTIONS

  • Is this another "pay-to-win" trap?
No, we hate those games as much as you do. There’s no "energy" to buy or timers you have to pay to skip. We’re planning to add a few cosmetic packs later (like different lighthouse colors) just to keep the lights on here at the studio, but the core game is open to everyone from the start.
  • Will it run on my old phone?
We’ve been testing this on 4 - year - old devices and it’s holding up fine. You can toggle off the complex water reflections in the settings if you feel things getting sluggish. Just make sure you’ve got about half a gig of space free for the cache.
  • Can I play offline?
Yes, that was one of our main rules during development. The game is fully offline. You only need the internet if you want to cloud - sync your save to another device or download an update. Other than that, you’re good to go anywhere.
